September Monthly Reading Challenges Round up

..Why, hello book nerds! Is life as hectic for you as it is for me? It's the first month of my oldest childrens grade 10 year (which ... wow), work is crazy (but good. I love my job most days), and we are preparing for my favorite season - fall. Baking, chilly weather, Halloween ... books ...

This year, I decided to sign up for some reading challenges. While I adore reading, with my overwhelming tbr list, sometimes its nice to have challenges to point you towards a book. So here is a monthly roundup.

GOODREADS READING CHALLENGE

118/150

THE BACKLIST READER CHALLENGE

This challenges rules are simple. If the book has been in your tbr list for a year or more, and wasn't published in 2020/2021, it counts. This months books that count toward this challenge is:

Everything I read this month has been a new release or newly added to my TBR. Fail!

CHUNKSTER READING CHALLENGE

Very simple challenge. Any book you read that is over 450 pages in their hardcover form, counts.

My Chunkster book for September, 2021 are:

READ THE ALPHABET CHALLENGE

Also a very simple challenge. Each month is assigned some letters. Read a book that starts with that letter. This month, the challenge was two books that started with Q and R.

I never did get around to Q .....

THE HISTORICAL READING CHALLENGE

I'm not a HUGE historical fiction reader, but I do enjoy it from time to time.

I have challenged myself to read 15 books this year.

Current count: 11/15

Nothing this month!

THE NETGALLEY AND EDELWEISS READING CHALLENGE

I'm not doing good on this one. haha. I challenged myself to get to level Silver, which is 25 books, but as of right now, I only have 5.

5/25

I'm counting Mad World, as I did read an ARC of it. I just didn't get it from either of these platforms. I got it from signing up to be a part of Hannah McBride's ARC team.

So that is it for this month! Are you signed up for any challenges? Host one? Let me know in the comments!
