Book 3 of the Mad World series

I TRIED TO BE MADELAINE.

It started with a twin switch that was supposed to be temporary. It ended with me being locked up in an asylum, hidden from Ryan Cain, the man I love more than life. Vowing to avenge my sister's murder may have resulted in my captivity, but there's one truth that still remains:

I'LL ALWAYS BE MADISON.

We underestimated what my father was capable of, and now I'm on my own. Only I can put an end to this sadistic game before it costs me everything: my friends, my future, and Ryan.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT. I'M DONE BEING MAD; IT'S TIME TO GET EVEN.

Genre:

Romance

Thriller

Mad Love is the conclusion of Maddie and Ryan's arc in the Mad World series by Hannah McBride. It centers are Madison (Maddie), and Ryan, who find themselves in trouble after underestimating Maddie's father. Separated, but desperate to get back to each other, both will do whatever is takes to find one another again. With their closest friends, and the information Madison's twin uncovered before her murder, they intend to take down the most powerful, and depraved men in the country - their fathers.

First, I would like to thank Hannah McBride and her team for sending me an arc of Mad Love, in exchange for an honest and fair review.

This series. AHHH! Hannah McBride, you did it again. After the intense ride us readers have been on since Mad World debuted, I wasn't sure how Hannah could pull off a conclusion to Maddie and Ryan's story, but she did it! It was everything I wanted. It was nerve-wracking, and things do not come easy to our heroes, which makes for a very interesting read. It was a constant chess match between Ryan, Maddie and their enemies, which left the reader on their toes to the very end. While Mad Love is intense, and fast-paced, we still get some equally intense romantic moments between Ryan and Maddie. The best part of this - beside the fact that Hannah writes GREAT sex scenes - was that it didn't take us out of the story. When a romance novel has a rich plot - like this series - its hard not to remove your characters from the story for the sake of adding some steam, but Hannah seems to be able to do this flawlessly.

Mad Love is a crazy, intense conclusion to this couples story, and leaves the reader feeling content. Is this series dark - yes. But dark in a way that feels realistic in the world we live in today. Hannah McBride's Mad World series works, with her engaging, twisty plot, and strongly written characters, I can't wait to see what else this series has in store. And yes - there is more. Ryan and Maddie's story is "complete", but the whole gang needs a match, and there is still much Phoenix needs to do. So while this is the end for now, I can't wait to see what Hannah has for us next!
