I'm Still Here

Hey everyone!

I'm alive!

In all seriousness, I'm totally okay.

My life has been chaos lately, which means I haven't been posting. Which is such a bummer, because I love posting everything I read. I hope to catch up, but who knows.

I would love to still do my annual holiday posts as well. Time depending, I will.

What has been keeping me from my tiny slice of the internet? Well, it's actually a good thing. A great thing!

I got a new job.

One that makes me actually happy, and that I look forward to going to.

I work for Indigo now! I love that I get to work among other booklovers, and talk to customers that enjoy what I do.

To see and touch all the pretty books.

It also comes with WAY more hours than I've ever worked. Which is great for many reasons, but leaves me less time to hang out on here.

So I will have to make some changes:

• I will continue updating old posts to the current format I use. I want my website to look nice and consistent, so while I have time, I will do a few at a time.

• From now on, I will only post about books I enjoyed. Essentially, I won't be dedicating a whole post about a book that I am giving 2 stars or less. If I read a book I didn't like, or DNF a book, I may post it in a monthly roundup post, with my reasoning why I didn't love it or didn't finish it.

• I used to aim for a post every 3 days. It will probably only be a post a week going forward, not including bookish news (which I am wildly behind on)

I will continue Holiday Gift Guides, but maybe not so many :)

I've missed it here, and I hope to be around more soon! I started working on a review for a Christina Lauren book that I need to finish, and I need to post my review for Primal of Blood and Bones, including my theories for the next book. But first I will probably do the gift guides, because the holidays are fast approaching.
