There has been SO MUCH bookish news lately. While I tend to post it as I see it on my Instagram, I have been neglecting this website lately.
Not because I want to.
It's just summer is a busy time for me.
I work, and when I'm not working, I hang out with my kid :)
But again ... so much has been happening in the book world, and I just need to tell you all about it if you don't know already.

The Love Hypothesis Movie
In a world where book adaption rights constantly fall through (I'm looking at you ACOTAR and Blood and Ash), it's nice to see some of my most beloved romances actually make it to the big screen.
And we got casting news as they begun filming!
Olive will be played by the talented and beautiful Lili Reinhart, and our beloved Adam will be played by Tom Bateman
Honestly, such amazing casting. I love that they are playing up the height difference between the two ... And Tom Bateman is pulling off the "I don't want to be here" vibes that our favorite grumpy hero gives out.
If you don't already know, The Love Hypothesis was originally a fanfic of Star Wars Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) falling in love. Who knows if it was on purpose or not, but Tom Bateman is Daisy Ridley's IRL husband. How fun is that?
They are currently filming in Montreal, Canada. There is no current release date, but if I had to predict one, I would guess it's going to hit Amazon Prime's streaming service next summer.

Off-Campus TV Series
I'm so excited for this! Filming hasn't begun as far as I know, but the full cast has been announced, as well as the format. Each season will center on each couple (book) - which is exactly what we were all hoping for.
As for the cast, we have
Ella Bright playing Hannah Wells
Belmont Cameli playing Garrett Graham
Jalen Thomas Brooks playing John Tucker
Stephen Kalyn playing Dean Di Laurentis
Antonio Cipriano playing John Logan
Mika Abdalla playing Allie Hayes
Josh Heuston playing Justin
Steve Howey playing Phil Graham
Overall, while I didn't picture some of these actors as these characters, all I really care about is if they can bring these stories to my screen, and are overall true to the story. If I hear any rumblings about filming updates, I will let you know!
In other Elle Kennedy news ...
I knew we were getting more books in this universe! Looks like March 17th, 2026, we will be getting a stand alone novel featuring ... Blake and Wyatt! I'm SOOOO ready for it!
