Top Ten Sexiest Reads of 2020

Updated: Jan 24, 2021

Below I have listed my sexiest reads of the 2020 year. Keep in mind, I'm not just rating the sex in each book, but the sexual chemistry and buildup between the characters in each book as well. I've read a lot of romance, and believe me, chemistry and buildup is so important.

10 (Sexy) to 1 (My lady parts combusted while reading)

10. Dirty Headlines by LJ Shen

L.J. Shen can write smut. If you are looking for hot, enemy to lovers sexy times, with no cheesy romance, you will enjoy Dirty Headlines. Warning though ... it's not for the faint of heart.

9. Too Hard to Forget by Tessa Bailey

There is just something about forbidden love that makes things just a little bit hotter. This romance brings a level of steam that you will not regret. Hot, hot, HOT.

8. Someone Like You by Lauren Layne

All the Stiletto and Oxford books are hot as hell, but there is something about Lincoln and Daisy that will rev you up. Who knew you could fuck someone with words? Well, Lincoln can.

7. Bared to You by Sylvia Day

I finally succumbed and read this series after years of it showing up in my goodreads suggestions. Hotter than 50 Shades for sure, if you like a lot of dirty, hot, sexy scenes, you will not be disappointed with this series.

6. The Prophecy by Jennifer L Armentrout

The chemistry is on fire between Seth and Josie in this final book in the Titan series. Despite all that goes on in this amazing series, there is still lots of time for these two to get down and dirty.

5. Walk of Shame by Lauren Layne

I love a good enemies to lovers, opposites attract story, and Walk of Shame is all that and then some. Grouchy, but hot as hell neighbor, and a perky socialite? The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot, even when they are arguing. And when things finally get steamy? Yum.

4. The Prince (Summer King Trilogy) by Jennifer L Armentrout

I know, I know, a novella. That just means we don't have to wait so long for the smut, right? The electricity between Brighton and Caden is insane from the start. No matter what they are doing, they exude sex appeal, and when they finally get together ... so, so hot.

3. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Sex with anyone? Meh. But sex with your mate? HOT. The sexual tension that builds between Rhysand and Feyre is intense ... and when they finally go at each other. Oh. My. God. Explosive. Just ... explosive.

2. House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City) by Sarah J Maas

I know, I know. How the hell did a book where the main couple did not actually have sex, get to number 2 on the list? Read. This. Book. The sexual tension between Hunt and Bryce is so intense, you don't even need the sex. You certainly want it though. The few intimate moments between the two of them are enough. Tell you what though ... the next book, when they finally have sex ... and they better! ... lady parts will combust.

1. A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L Armentrout

It's freakin' Poppy and Cas. I will throw down with anyone who tells me these two don't belong at the top of the list.

Sexual tension.

Desire and betrayal.

Feeding.

Sex.

Love.

This book literally gave me shivers.
