Book 1 in the Violent Delights Series
Damon Pierce has a dangerous reputation at Violent Delights.
As for the submissive women he plays with? They get one night only.
Any more would put them at risk.
He has no interest in emotional entanglements.
Especially not with Sophia Morelli.
She's too brazen. Too beautiful.
And the sister of one of his closest friends.
Still, he finds himself drawn to her beckoning sensuality, her mouthy attitude, and the compelling innocence he discovers under her bold facade. Despite how much he may wish for it, nothing can change the past...or the very real danger he poses to her right now.

You know the drill!
Before I begin, I would like to thank Valentine PR and Sienna Snow for sending my an arc of Claim, in exchange for a fair and honest review.
When I was looking for some arcs to apply for, Claim stood out to me.
I was in the mood to switch things up from my rom-com, dramatic romances.
It's been a while since I read any BDSM/dom/sub romance, so I applied!
Claim is a short read, and very fast paced. It gets spicy - quickly - and feelings build rapidly.
Not a bad thing.
I prefer a bit more of a slow burn to my romance, especially in one where trust is so important, but there are lots of readers who love to jump right in, so it's all about preference.
Claim is also a spin off from past series' (this is a collaboration series called Midnight Dynasty from what I can tell), but that doesn't mean you can't read this. Easter eggs are dropped, so it makes you want to read the other books, but nothing is spoiled, and it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of this book. After all, despite not being thrilled with how fast everything goes down, I did go back and add the other books this series' spins off from.
So I did enjoy it.
The BDSM element I felt was nicely done. I definitely enjoyed the dominant qualities of Damon. Dominant, yet makes sure the power is truly in Sophia's hands. Everything is consensual, and enjoyable. And Sophia, while submissive behind closed doors, is not outside the bedroom, which I also enjoy. She knows her place in the world, and doesn't let anyone run her over. I like that in this genre.
If you are looking for a short book (a little over 200 pages), and are in the mood for some consensual, healthy BDSM romance, Claim will be up your alley. It's a bit rushed, but there is enough plot in this book to hook you, so you want to read the next one.
